Indexation Report

Why indexation matters

If a page isn’t indexed by Google, it won’t show up in the search results—no matter how good your content is. That’s why it’s important to regularly check if all your important pages are indexed.

Using the Indexation Report

To get started, go to your site’s report and open the Indexation Report under the Technical section.

This report helps you understand how your pages are currently indexed. It shows which pages are indexable and which are not.

Find indexation issues

If any of your pages have indexation issues, they’ll be listed here. In our example, we see two pages that aren’t indexable. These are legal pages we don’t want to appear in search results. In such cases, you can click “Ignore page” to remove them from future reports.

See what Google has indexed

The report also shows if Google has indexed each page. Sometimes you’ll see indexable pages that haven’t been indexed yet—often because they’re new. In that case, it’s just a matter of waiting until Google picks them up.

Last crawl date

For each page, you can also see the date when Google last crawled it. This helps you figure out whether Google is actively visiting your site or not.

What to do next

Use the Indexation Report regularly to keep track of your indexation status. Whether it's fixing technical issues, removing unwanted pages, or simply waiting for Google to index new ones, this report gives you a clear picture of what’s happening.

That’s it for now—happy optimizing!
