Using Google's Page Inspection API

Yesterday, Google released its Page Inspection API. Today, we're showing their data in your reports.

If you've connected your SiteGuru account to Google Search Console, your reports have more meaningful data:

  • The indexability report now includes the Google Coverage Status, like 'Submitted and Indexed' or 'Crawled - currently not indexed'
  • The indexability report also has the last crawl date (when Google last visited this page)
  • The canonical URL report now highlights whenever Google has selected a different canonical URL from the one you provided

Don't see the data yet? Start a new crawl, and you should see the data after it's finished.

Side note: Google has currently set a limit to 2000 pages. If you have more pages, we'll hope to report on those soon.
