Google introduces continuous scrolling on mobile

Google has introduced Continuous Scrolling on the mobile search results page. Instead of clicking to page 2 once you get to the bottom of the first pages, Google now automatically loads in the next results. It's now easier to keep scrolling for more results, without having to click on a More Results button first.

I personally think this is great news for SEOs. We used to say: "the best place to hide a dead body is on page 2 of Google's results". That's no longer the case: sites ranking lower than the first page can now expect to gain more clicks. It makes the searcher feel like she hasn't left page one, which may feel like the search results are more relevant.

Your positions in Google Search Console won't be affected by this redesign:

The new experience will start rolling out in the US for English searches.
